The Government decrees to establish that Geodetic and Cartographic Service (ROSKARTOGRAFIJA) is the Federal Executive Body entitled with the special functions (executive, control, survey, authorizing, regulating and others) in the field of geodetic and cartographic activity and the nomination of geographic objectives. Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service is the legal successor of the abolished Ministry on Land Policy, Construction, Housing and Communal Services in the sphere of geodetic and cartographic activity.

“Centre” is the legal person, ha san independent balance, settlement, currency and other accounts in banks of Ukraine, seal, stamps, firm forms and other necessary essential elements, realizes the industrial, economic and financial activity on principles of cost accounting and self-financing. “Centre” realizes organization-methodical and technical management of detached sub-sections attached to territorial branches of land institutions.

The Government decrees to establish that State Committee on Land Policy is a Federal Executive Body entitled to carry out inter-departmental co-ordination of the activity in the sphere of land relations, as well as the functional regulation in this sphere, including keeping state land cadastre, cadastre valuation of land, land survey and state control over protection and use of land.

The Government, for the purpose of speeding-up of the reform of housing and municipal services, as well as for more active participation of the population in the process of the improvement of urban planning, decrees to validate the Regulation. The document determines the modalities of definition of size and boundaries of the plots of land within condominiums conceded on condition of ownership or lease to the house-owners or condominiums.

ROSKARTOGRAFIJA is a specially authorized Federal Body in the field of environmental protection within the sphere of its competence as well as in the sphere of denomination of geographic objects.

The head of the Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography orders to validate the Regulation. This Regulation determines the status, the main tasks and competence of the territorial inspection of state geodetic survey of the Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography. Territorial inspection of state geodetic survey is a territorial division of the Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography and carries out state geodetic survey over geodetic and cartographic activity on the allotted territory. Inspection is a juridical person. The main tasks of inspection are: 1).

This Regulation establishes the purpose, the principles, the structure and the rules for carrying out certification in the System of certification of geodetic, topographic and cartographic produce set up by the Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography for carrying out compulsory certification. The document consists of 6 Sections and contains 5 Annexes. Section 1 regards the sphere of application of the Regulation.

The Government, for the purpose of development of the automatic system of keeping state land cadastre directed toward modern methods of data collection, processing, storage and transmission, decrees to validate the Program and to entitle the Committee on land resources and land survey to be the customer of the Program. The document consists of 6 Sections. Section 1 regards the substance of the problem and the substantiation of the necessity of its solution by programmed methods. Section 2 concerns the main objects, tasks, terms and stages of carrying out the Program.

The present Regulation enacts the Surveys Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down details relating to land survey procedures and the work of the land surveyor. Section 7 establishes that the Director of Surveys may issue instructions governing the standards of survey and content of subdivision plans. The text consists of 8 sections.

This Decree makes provision for the surveying and mapping of land in relation to registration of land in the cadaster and in particular prescribes qualifications and describes functions of cadastral surveyors and assistant cadastral surveyors. These officials shall be appointed by Ministerial Decision in accordance with articles 6 to 16 and operate in the operation territory of a land Affairs Office (art. 10). They shall carry out measurement and mapping of land for purposes of land registration and division, partition or unification of plots of land.

The present Regulation introduces some amendments to the Designation of Provincial Forests Regulation 226/88. In particular, section 3 (Porcupine Provincial Forest) of the Schedule is replaced.
