El presente Decreto dispone que todas las instituciones del Sector Ambiente, Energía, Mares y Ordenamiento Territorial y del Sector Desarrollo Agropecuario y Rural, tal y como se definen en el Decreto Ejecutivo N° 38536-MP-PLAN del Reglamento Orgánico del Poder Ejecutivo, integrarán acciones en sus programas, proyectos y en sus planes de desarrollo institucional, con el fin de lograr una "Articulación Intersectorial para la incorporación de los Principios de Neutralidad de la Degradación de Tierras en la Lucha contra la Desertificación, la Degradación de la Tierra y la Sequía".

Fire is one of the principal agents changing forest carbon stocks and landscape level distributions of carbon, but few studies have addressed how accurate carbon accounting of fire-killed trees is or can be. We used a large number of forested plots (1646), detailed selection of species-specific and location-specific allometric equations, vegetation type maps with high levels of accuracy, and Monte Carlo simulation to model the amount and uncertainty of aboveground tree carbon present in tree species (hereafter, carbon) within Yosemite and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks.

We are in the Anthropocene. For millennia, human actions have been shaping the world to the degree that they are inscribed in the geological and ecological record. Recently, this has been occurring with increasing speed and influence. This means we need to be asking integrative and effective questions about the world and how we relate to and in it. Human niche construction has broad and deep effects not just on landscapes and environments, but on the myriad of other beings sharing space with us.

This Decree aims at compliance with sanitary and phytosanitary regulations, protection of plant species, efficient use of green areas and prevention of soil degradation. It sets forth principles and procedures of restoration, expansion, creation and improvement of green areas. The Decree shall not apply to green areas in forest lands, private lands, protected areas and in agricultural land.

Le présent arrêté du Gouvernement flamand modifie diverses dispositions de l'arrêté du Gouvernement flamand du 8 mai 2009 relatif à la lutte contre l'érosion.

In a course of the research there were studied the current state, composition and structure of agricultural land in Mogilev region, their quantitative and qualitative characteristics, and the dynamics of these lands in the context of the main land users. The reasons for changing the area of agricultural land and made their forecast for the near future were established. According to the data provided, there was an increase in the area of agricultural land allocated to agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer) households for the past period from 2005 to 2016.

Addressing the problems of improving the land management of agricultural organizations, taking into account their ecologicalstatus in the process of intensification of agricultural production, should promote effective use, protection and management of land resources. The main task here is to establish their rational forms and sizes, create the most favorable territorial distribution of the means of production inextricably linked with the land, in order to ensure the sustainable development of farms on the basis of observanceof environmental norms and requirements.

These Regulations consolidate with amendments the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 201 and subsequent amending instruments and implement amendments to Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment (“the Directive”) which were made by Directive 2014/52/EU.

These Regulations amend the Development and Planning Regulations (2013 revision) in regulation 8 by inserting after subregulation (14), two subregulations on volumetric plans, also for the purpose of calculation of waterfront properties.

The relative scarcity of land resources to meet the growing needs of land-users has compelled land specialists to consider the need for a better system in the proper use and management of land resource. Forestlands comprise a major component of the national land and are currently the most degraded areas.

This presentation presented guiding questions and discussion about the iLAMPT tool. It comes under the second session 'Evaluations of impacts of SWC planning scenarios on soil erosion across Rmel watershed' of the workshop "Systems Tool-aided Participatory Development of Sustainable Land Management Scenarios: 2nd Workshop", held in Zaghouan on 14-15 March 2017.
