This Act declares that a person occupying rural land who, but for this Act, would be subjected to any legal proceedings for an order for the recovery of possession, shall be a protected occupier of rural land for the period referred to in subsection four, if: (a) that person was occupying the land on the fixed date and is still occupying the land at the date of commencement of this Act; and (b)

This Act amends the Land Tenure Act of 1992 with respect to among other things: definitions of "ownership", "Department" and "Director" (sect. 2); administration of public land (sect. 3); measures regarding violation or breach of the terms and conditions of a lease of public land.

This Act regulates the use of farm equipment, i.e. any movables used for agricultural purposes on any agricultural land acquired for resettlement purposes under the Land Reform Programme, and provides for the control of use of farm equipment. Section 3 prohibits wilful destruction of farm equipment without the permission in writing of the acquiring authority (sect. 2).

This Act amends the State Land (Alienation) Act by vesting land specified in the Second Schedule in the Ports Authority as established under the Ports Act.

This Act establishes the National Heritage Fund as a body corporate, defines its functions and provides for its internal organization. The principal object of the Fund shall be to safeguard, manage and promote the national heritage of Mauritius. The Fund shall be administered and managed by the National Heritage Trust Fund Board.

This Act concerns: (a) any written agreement or undertaking executed by a farmer whereunder the farmer: (i) purports to give to the holder (defined in section 2) any right, title or interest in or over the whole or part of any crop which has been, is being or is to be grown or produced in Zimbabwe or the proceeds thereof; and (ii) authorizes any person to pay to the holder the whole or part of

The Act provides that all deeds, conveyances, wills and instruments in writing whereby any land or interest in or affecting land other than land registered in accordance with the Registered Land Act, may be affected shall subject to compulsory registration in the Deeds Registry Office. The Minister may exempt certain leases from this requirement.

This Act provides rules relative to the survey of land.

A Proclamation to provide for the utilization of urban land. Urban land is defined as all land within urban boundaries (art. 2). The Proclamation shall apply to urban land held by a permit system, or by lease-hold system, as well as by other means in force prior to those systems (art. 3).
