British Columbia Indian Lands Settlement Act (S.C. 1920, c. 51).

The present Act makes provisions for the settlement of differences between the governments of the Dominion of Canada and the Province of British Columbia respecting Indian Lands and certain other Indian Affairs in the afore-mentioned Province. In particular, section 2 grants powers to the Governor in Council to settle such differences with respect to Indian matters. The text consists of 3 sections.

This Act establishes and regulates the Land Court, it consists of 94 sections and is divided into six Parts. The Act also establishes a Land Appeal Court, specifies its jurisdiction and operation. Both courts are the continuance of the courts established under the Land Act 1962 and preserved in existence by the Land Act 1994 (Part 6).

This Act provides for the assessment of real property in New Brunswick for taxation purposes. The Act defines the mode for assessing real property and related procedures and exemptions. La presente Ley tiene como objeto garantizar el ejercicio de los derechos de todos los pueblos indígenas presentes en el Estado de Chihuahua. Entre los derechos reconocidos cabe destacar el artículo 14, en virtud del cual los pueblos y las comunidades indígenas tienen derecho a establecer sus propias formas dinámicas de organización territorial, entendidas como el espacio en el cual reproducen sus formas de organización social, sistemas normativos internos, idioma y costumbres.
