Assessment of forest management in forests pertaining to kolkhozes and agricultural enterprises shall be carried out with a view of transfer thereof to the state forestry enterprises for the purpose of economic and ecological revaluation of forests. Forest officers through on site inspection shall carry out assessment of forest management. The following assessment criteria shall be taken into account: (a) fulfilment of the annual cut for main use felling; (b) issue forestry licences; (c) fulfilment of forestry protection measures; (d) purposeful use of forest land; (e) availability of forest officers; (f) registration, collection and reporting of forestry data. Transfer of land owned by kolkhozes and agricultural enterprises to the state forestry enterprises for the purpose of forest management shall be carried out after the establishment of the main function thereof, which includes timber extraction, protection forest and recreational forest.
