South East Asian Journal of Contemporary Business, Economics and Law (SEAJBEL), an open-access journal, is peer-reviewed and published in April, August and December annually. The journal accepts contributions in English only. SEAJBEL is providing scholars the best in theory, research, and methodology as well as providing platform to professionals and academics to share their ideas, knowledge and findings particularly in the region of South East Asia.
Focali (Forest, Climate, and Livelihood research network) is a Swedish research network focusing on forest / bio-energy, climate change and poverty issues. Several Swedish universities and institutions are represented in the network. The purpose is to contribute to the provision of relevant knowledge to Sida and other Swedish authorities for the effective use of forest operations to achieve climate-poverty targets. Focali also aims to increase the flow of relevant information between scientists, industry, government and civil society.
Established in 1998, the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies promotes an interdisciplinary approach to area studies in order to better understand the world’s diverse regions. The school aims to train specialists in Asian and African area studies, who have a global perspective, but also retain a detailed understanding of localities.
The central motivation of the BonaRes Centre (Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung GmbH – UFZ) is the transfer of existing and newly generated knowledge about soil functions into scientifically based decision support tools for soil management in the context of a sustainable bioeconomy. In future, it should be possible to make decisions on soil management options based on current scientific knowledge. This should protect soils with their diverse functions and steer their sustainable use as a bio-economic production factor.
Area Development and Policy (ADP) aims to be a world class journal publishing original academic research examining the economic, political, cultural and geographical contexts which play a fundamental role in shaping and developing regions, cities, rural areas and the relationships between them. ADP concentrates on issues relating to the Greater BRICS and welcomes submissions emerging from these countries as well from the developed world.
SOJOURN is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of social and cultural issues in Southeast Asia. It publishes empirical and theoretical research articles to promote and disseminate scholarship in and on the region. Areas of special concern include ethnicity, religion, tourism, urbanization, migration, popular culture, social and cultural change, and development. Fields most often represented in the journal are anthropology, sociology and history.
Asian Studies Review is a multidisciplinary journal of contemporary and modern Asia. The journal sets out to showcase high-quality scholarship on the modern histories, cultures, societies, languages, politics and religions of Asia through the publication of research articles, book reviews and review articles.
Economia e Sociedade tem por objetivo contribuir para o desenvolvimento da reflexão crítica em temas de amplo interesse nas áreas de teoria econômica, economia aplicada, história do pensamento econômico e história econômica. Desde sua criação, em 1992, a revista acolhe a produção heterodoxa inspirada, sobretudo, pelas tradições de Marx, Keynes, Kalecki e Schumpeter, bem como pela reflexão latino-americana sobre desenvolvimento econômico.
O departamento de Economia e Planejamento Econômico (DEPE), do Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas (IFCH) da Unicamp iniciou suas atividades em 1968, com cursos de economia e planejamento econômico em nível de pós-graduação. Considera-se essa a data de nascimento do IE/Unicamp. O curso de graduação em Ciências Econômicas começa em 1970 e o Mestrado e o Doutorado em economia foram formalmente implementados ao longo daquela década (1974 e 1977, respectivamente).
