This Decree provides for the promotion, economical support and international participation to initiatives aimed at the improvement of the so called rural industrial production by mean of policies and financial interventions in the rural communities. Particularly, the activities that shall be supported, funded and encouraged shall be those related to the agricultural, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture industries; the construction of new facilities; the processing of new or raw materials and the production of goods destined to international trade; the production of hydro-electric power and the energy recycling. New facilities or old ones with a history of environmental pollution that must be levelled off and rebuilt according to the policies on environment protection shall be entitled to preferential land policies and fiscal exemptions.
