The aim of this Decision is to transfer from the finance sector to the natural resources and environment sector all tasks and powers of land valuation, dossiers and documents on land valuation and organizations, official and public employees conducting land valuation.
Within the framework of the Federal Land Use Planning Act of 18 August 1997 (BGBl. I p. 2081, 2102), the present Law regulates land use planning in the Free State of Saxony. Article 1 establishes that the whole land of Saxony shall be subject to a sustainable planning policy.
Article 9 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Councils of representatives of indigenous peoples can be set up on a voluntary basis by the Regional Government for protection of rights and legal interests of indigenous peoples”.
Under this Act, the Minister responsible for the Culture and Sport Secretariat may designate any site, parcel of land, building, or structure of any kind to be an historic or anthropological site. The Act provides for the administration of the areas designated under the Act.
