The present Regulation is enacted under the Assessment Act. In particular, section 1 of the Regulation establishes that categories and types of things, deemed to be included in the definition of "improvements" by section 1(2) of the afore-mentioned Act, shall be excluded from the defintion of "improvements" in the Act.

Surface Lease Regulation (B.C. Reg. 497/74).
The present Regulation is enacted under the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to terms and conditions of surface leases made in respect of the rights to the surface of land other than the surface rights of Crown land.

Port Land Valuation Regulation (B.C. Reg. 304/2010).
The present Regulation is made under the Assessment Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the valuation of port land. The text consists of 4 sections as follows: Definition (1); Interpretation of Schedule (2); Designated port land and actual value for 2010 taxation year (3); Actual value for 2011 and subsequent taxation years (4);. Private Managed Forest Land Council Regulation, 2007 (B.C. Reg. 182/2007).
The present Regulation is made under the Private Managed Forest Land Act. The Regulation provides for Council powers and administrative requirements , owner requirements with regard to: administration , soil conservation, structures and activities near streams, fish streams and water supply areas, reforestation.
