The politics of Moldova take place in a framework of a parliamentary representative democratic republic, wherein the prime minister is the head of the government, and a multi-party system. The government exercises executive power while the legislative power is vested in the Parliament. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature. The position of the breakaway region of Transnistria (a self-proclaimed autonomous region, on the left side of the river Nistru), relations with Romania and with Russia, and integration into the EU dominate political discussions.

This Decree shall be compulsory for all natural and legal persons carrying out geodetic activity, topographic activity, survey, mapping and keeping of land cadastre. National Agency on Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre shall be the authorized institution for issuance, renewal, validation, restriction and revocation of licences. The applicant shall file the application specifying the type and the period activity, registration certificate issued by the registration authority, company statute and documents attesting professional qualification.

This law establishes that the owner of housing facility located on a plot of land subject to expropriation for state or public needs shall be granted equal housing facility by state, cooperative or public organization to which the expropriated plot of land has been allotted (art. 96).

Decree of the National Agency on Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre validating the Regulation on the organization of geodetic, cartographic and cadastre activity.
This Decree shall be compulsory for all natural and legal persons carrying out geodetic activity, topographic activity, survey, mapping and keeping of land cadastre. National Geodetic Supervision Service shall be the authorized institution for issuance, renewal, validation, restriction and revocation of authorization to natural and legal persons in accordance with the form contained in the Annex 2. Authorization shall not be required for the correction of agricultural land areas maps, land use planning and forest organization maps and charts.
