Nowadays , demographic pressure on water and land resources is progressively increasing and their sustainability features have increasingly been under threat so these resources are required to using effectively. Large part of food requirements meet from irrigable area.
The aims of this study are to determine the appropriate peach orchard locations among Tokat Kazova lands and to classify the lands according to the suitability for peach cultivation by means of Geographic Information System (GIS).

In this study, land use changes between 1986-2001 in Bartın-Ulus-Asagıdere watershed area was determined. In order to determine the land use percentages in 1986, Forest Management plan has been taken into consideration. Land use data belonging to 2001 has been determined by making use of the observations in the study area and data obtained from Forest Management plan of the year 2001.
Realizing sustainable urban development requires setting planning processes on ecological grounds and a design approach that strengthens ecology-economics-energy relations for a life consistent with nature.
This Regulation amends Article 7 concerning the rental of pasture lands and Article 8 concerning changes in the purpose of the allocation of pasture lands, of the Regulation on pastures dated 1998. The Regulation adds a new paragraph to the Article 8 regarding environmental impact assessment. The Regulation further makes minor changes in Article 13 and 19.
