Panduan audit investigatif ini disusun sebagai bagian dari upaya untuk mendorong keterpaduan pada tingkatan teknis operasional dalam aspek pemberantasan korupsi, pencucian uang dan kejahatan kehutanan. Panduan ini disusun agar audit investigatif dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik dan hasilnya sesuai dengan kualifikasi yang dibutuhkan penyelidik dan penyidik untuk melaksanakan penyelidikan dan penyidikan korupsi, pencucian uang dan kejahatan dalam bidang kehutanan.

These guidelines have been developed based on FAO’s and WOCAT’s extensive experience. The book draws, in particular, on WOCAT’s network and its database of SLM knowledge - as well as on WOC AT’s first overview book entitled ‘Where the land is greener’. These guidelines were implemented in the framework of the TerrAfrica partnership, whose main objective is to mainstream and upscale SLM in SSA, through the leveraging and harmonising of multisectoral investments at the local, country, subregional and regional levels.

Development projects conceived now are rarely expected to have a life of more than five years, perhaps ten years at most. Looking back over more than twenty years of project experience in community forestry - itself grounded on an integrated development project of a similar time span - is thus a rare opportunity. The workshop was attended by 89 participants representing government agencies, national assembly, civil society groups, and international organizations working in Lao PDR. In the REDD+ era, the issue of forest tenure has shot to the top of international forest policy agendas. Even beyond the issue of 'REDD readiness,' there is much debate on the role of tenure in other outcomes of sustainable forest management, in particular livelihoods and forest conservation. This literature review focuses on the latter concern and aims to provide a brief overview of the international literature on the question of the relationship between forest tenure and forest cover change.
