Forest and Range Practices Act ([SBC 2002] Chapter 69).

The present Act lays down provisions relating to forest and range practices. Section 136 establishes that the Forest Practices Board is continued. The text consists of 217 sections divided into 11 Parts as follows: Definition and interpretation (1); Forest stewardship plan, site plan and woodlot licence plan (2); Forest practices (3); Range (4); Protection of resources (5); Compliance and enforcement (6); General (7); Forest Practices Board (8); Regulations and standards (9); Pilot projects for forest practices or range practices (10); Nisga'a Final Agreement Transition (11).

Private Managed Forest Land Act ([SBC 2003] Chapter 80).

The present Act applies to private managed forest land other than land that is in a tree farm licence area, a woodlot licence area or a community forest agreement area. Section 4 decrees that the Private Managed Forest Land Council is established as a corporation consisting of the members appointed under section 6. The object of the council is to encourage forest management practices on private managed forest land, taking into account the social, environmental and economic benefits of those practices.

El presente Ley modifica la Ley de Espacios Naturales Protegidos de Aragón, incorporando las nuevas figuras de protección de ámbito internacional, tales como las reguladas por la UNESCO, y trasponiendo igualmente el acervo comunitario, en especial lo referente a la Red Natura 2000, a la conservación de las aves silvestres, y a la conservación de los hábitats naturales y de la fauna y flora silvestres.

Article 69 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Separation distance shall ensure non-proliferation of fires from forest species in forest areas (forest parks) to edifices and constructions located: (a) outside forest area (forest park); (b) within forest area (forest park); and (c) from forest species outside forest area (forest park) to edifices and constructions”.

This Law, consisting of 21 articles, creates the National Granting System of lands for agricultural, forestry or silvopastoril purpose, called «Bolsa de terras». This Law applies to rural lands according to their registration and subject to the legislation regulating the ownership transfer of goods. This Law does not apply to: rural lands considered mixed for tax purposes, of lands for non-permanent housing with an area less than 1 ha. Rural lands with authorised tourism activity by the competent authority.

This Law approves fiscal benefits to the use of agricultural, forestry and silvopastoril lands and to the promotion of the «Bolsa de terras». In particular, this Law establishes tax reductions aimed at stimulating the National Granting System of lands, amending the Fee Regulation for Land Registration, approved by Decree-Law No. 322-A/2001 of 14 December.

La presente Ley regula el Derecho Real de Superficie Forestal, definido como aquel por el cual el titular del dominio de un inmueble susceptible de contener plantaciones forestales o bosques naturales constituye a favor de terceros o superficiarios un derecho de aprovechamiento o disposición sobre los bienes forestales plantados sobre la superficie de su propiedad o sobre los bienes que se encuentren en el inmueble en forma de bosque natural.
