This Decree sets out the rules of procedure of classification of agricultural and forest land. The purpose of the classification is the determination of the quality of land destined to various uses. There are eight quality classes. A land quality map must be prepared showing the results of the classification process. For this purpose a copy of the cadastral map may be used. Annex 1 lists valuation territories with approximately similar production conditions. These valuation districts may be divided into smaller classification areas if the farming and soil conditions are not uniform in the whole territory. Annex 2 shows in which district and classification area each municipality belongs to.
