The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

These Regulations, made under section 128 of the Mines and Minerals Act, prescribe any circumstance when it is necessary or expedient in the interests of defence, public safety, public order, public health, town and country planning, or the development or utilization of any property for the public benefit to be a public purpose for the purposes of section 103 of the Act. Section 103 restricts the exercise of mining on land used for public purposes.

Law declaring the Nature Park "Lastovo Islands".
This Law provides all necessary information and standards for the declaration of the area of the archipelago including the surrounding sea area, with a total of 195.83 km surface, as a Croatian Nature Park "Lastovo Islands".
