The present Act introduces some amendments to the Crown Lands and Forests Act. In particular, it adds after section 94 a paragraph establishing that additional fees shall be paid by a municipality, corporation, board, commission or any person who makes an application to the Minister to do any of the following shall pay the fee prescribed by the regulation: a) to issue a grant of Crown Lands, b) to make an order, to grant or convey land, c) to lease Crown lands shall pay the fee prescribed by regulation.

Act to amend the Land Titles Act.
The present Act introduces substantial amendments to the Land Titles Act. In particular, it amends section 3 by adding the following definitions in alphabetical order:“electronic instrument”,”prescribed form”, “subscriber”; it adds after section 17 a paragraph dealing with electronic instruments; it rewords section 21 concerning registered land.

Expropriation Act (R.S.N.B. 1973, c. E-14).
The purpose of the present Act is to regulate expropriation procedures in the province of New Brunswick. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms employed therein such as, for example, “court”, “Council of a municipality”, “expropriate”, “expropriating authority”, “injurious affection”, “land”, “owner”, “tenant”, etc. Part I lays down provisions relating to expropriation proceedings and Part II deals with compensation to land owners.
General Regulation - Topsoil Preservation Act (N.B. Reg. 95-66).
This Regulation provides the definition of topsoil, which is “soil containing 0.9 percent or more organic carbon, as determined by the Walkley and Black method, and sand, silt and clay”. It specifies the procedure and requirements for obtaining a permit for the removal from site or he move of topsoil as well as for its transportation.
Land Titles Act (S.N.B. 1981, c. L-1.1).
Under section 1, the purpose of the Act is to provide a system for the registration of the title to land in the Province and instruments related thereto and to provide statutory authority for guaranteed land title. It provides for the establishment of a land title system (sect. 4), regulates the appointment and functions of the Registrar General and other officers (sects. 5-7), provides for parcel identification and registration (sects. 10-17), covers transfers (sects. 21-22), crown grants (sect. 23), easements (sect. 24), mortgages (sects. 25-26), leases (sects.
