This Act regulates the landlord-tenant relationship in New Brunswick. It covers all issues related to the rights and duties of each party, it consists of 79 sections and is divided into the following parts: Covenants and Conditions; Overholding Tenants; Summary Proceedings and Regulations.
General Regulation - Land Titles Act (N.B. Reg. 83-130).
This Regulation applies to the registration of the title to every parcel of land in the Province, including land owned by the Crown, unless the parcel of land is excepted from the operation of the Land Titles Act. It provides for requirements, fees and other matters related to registration.

PID Databank Regulation - Land Titles Act (N.B. Reg. 2000-40).
This regulation provides for the description of parcels of land for the purposes of the Land Titles Act. The regulation defines the standards for description by a plan, the standards for metes and bounds description and provides details on the statement of interests that benefit a parcel.

Crown Lands and Forests Act (S.N.B. 1980, c. C-38.1).
This Act concerns the management of Crown lands, i.e. all or any part of the lands vested in the Crown that are under the administration and control of the Minister and includes any water upon or under the surface of such lands and of forest and forest resources. The Act provides for surveys, for alienation and acquisition of land, including leases of Crown lands and acquisition of land by the Minister. The Act also provides for Crown timber licences, sub-licences and timber permits, the sale of timber and related royalties.
Assessment Act (R.S.N.B. 1973, c. A-14).
This Act provides for the assessment of real property in New Brunswick for taxation purposes. The Act defines the mode for assessing real property and related procedures and exemptions. The valuation methods and procedures are described as well as appeals to the Assessment and Planning Appeal Board for disputes on assessment and related issues.
