The present Regulations are made under the Real Property Tax Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down detailed provisions relating to the enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act in the Province. Section 5 deals with special real property tax levied under clause 12(5) of the Act and establishes that it shall be levied at the same rate as the rate levied pursuant to the Act for the taxation year in which the improvements were made. The text consists of 27 sections.

Forms Regulations (P.E.I. Reg. EC219/96).
The present Regulations are made under the Prince Edward Land Protection Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the measuring of shore frontage. Section 1 establishes that for the purpose of this Regulations “shore frontage” means, with respect to a parcel of land, the side or sides of the parcel of land that directly abut the waters of Northumberland Strait, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the bays listed in the Schedule or any body of water that is connected to tidal waters and has a tidal flow.
General Regulations (P.E.I. Reg. EC414/00).
The present Regulations are made under the Heritage Places Protection Act. For the purpose of the present Regulation “Board” means the Heritage Places Advisory Board, established by section 3 of the Act; and “Commission” means the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission created pursuant to the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. I-11.
Land Surveyors Act (R.S.P.E.I. 1988, c. L-3.1).
Section 2 of the above-mentioned Act establishes that the Association of Prince Edward Island Land Surveyors as constituted in the previous Act on the same subject is hereby continued as a body corporate under the same name. The Act regulates its internal organization and its functioning. Under section 6, there shall be a Board for the examination of land surveyors and the issue of certificates of qualification as Prince Edward Island land surveyor, the Board shall be the Board of Examiners of Prince Edward Island Land Surveyors.
Land Identification Regulations (P.E.I. Reg. EC606/95).
The present Regulations enact the Land Protection Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the identification of land. Section 2 specifies that the land identification programme established by these Regulations applies to the acquisition of land in the cases listed under this section. The text – consisting of 11 sections – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: definitions, identification, registration of deed, particulars of agreement, duration of agreement, existing agreements, application to vary or cancel conditions, report by Commission and savings.
