The present Regulations enact the Land Protection Act. The Regulations lay down provisions relating to the identification of land. Section 2 specifies that the land identification programme established by these Regulations applies to the acquisition of land in the cases listed under this section. The text – consisting of 11 sections – deals, amongst others, with the following aspects: definitions, identification, registration of deed, particulars of agreement, duration of agreement, existing agreements, application to vary or cancel conditions, report by Commission and savings. Two Schedules are enclosed.
