Echi Christina Gabbert is anthropologist with longterm fieldwork experience in Ethiopia. Her research foci are political ecology, collaborative research methods and cultural and global neighborhoods in the anthropocene. She coordinates the Lands of the Future Initiative, an interdisciplinary project about pastoral livelihoods in the twenty-first century.
