In the past years, the embassy has engaged with the stakeholders in land administration in Benin, including the newly established land administration agency (ANDF) and other partners/ organizations. The ANDF has requested support for its institutional development and to strengthen its capacity to successfully carry out their mandate in managing a national cadastre. The preferred partner for ANDF is Kadaster International (K.I. or Kadaster), given their experience with similar processes not only in The Netherlands, but also in Rwanda and other Southern countries, as well as Kadaster’s excellent reputation among different stakeholders in Benin. This formulation mission aims to prepare grounds for a long term partnership between Kadaster and ANDF.
