This Land Degradation Neutrality National Report is a national policy with a sectoral approach. The timeframe of the Plan is 15 years between 2016 and 2030. The overall goal of the policy is to ensure soil improvement and conservation.Agricultural productivity will be increased through land improvement in order to meet the food demand.Rural employment will be enhanced through agricultural development. To this end, the living standards in rural areas will be raised.Forest areas will be expanded through afforestation, rehabilitation of mine sites and soil conservation.

This Law establishes the third amendment of Law No. 54/2005 regulating the title ownership of water resources. Amendments deal with the ownership of water resources and lay down the requirements to be satisfied in order to use such resources. In addition, it regulates the lake and fluvial public domain which belongs to the state or to the autonomous regions.

Integrated Landscape Approaches for Africa’s Drylands presents emerging findings on the importance of moving beyond single-sector interventions to embrace integrated landscape management that takes into account the health of the ecosystems that support human livelihoods and contribute to the resilience of rural communities in Sub-Saharan African drylands. Integrated landscape management is particularly important for these drylands because people depend on production systems that are frequently disrupted by exogenous shocks such as drought.

The Asia and Pacific region has witnessed a remarkable transition in the past 2 decades. From 1990 to 2012, more than 1 billion people in Asia and the Pacific were lifted out of extreme poverty. The region also witnessed rapid economic growth, which is expected to remain stable at a growth rate of about 5.7% for the next 2 years.

A biofortificação de alimentos tem se destacado entre os temas do crescente debate nacional e internacional no campo da nutrição, aí incluída sua relação com a agricultura. Clarion angelfish is distributed across Mexico's Revillagigedo archipelago and coasts of Baja California Sur. No decline in the area of species distribution has been noted.

The family Nautilidae are found throughout tropical Asia Pacific region, but restricted to deep fore-reef slopes from 200–700 m in depth. Nautilus pompilius has the most widespread distribution, with other species having a more limited distribution.The low productivity of nautilids (late maturity, long lifespan, low fecundity and slow growth with no larval phase) and the major decline (70−90 percent) in fishery independent CPUE recorded at locations where fishing has occurred for greater than 10 years, was determined by the Panel as meeting the criteria for CITES Appendix II listing.
