Cutting 431.16 ha in O Krouch village of Trapaeng Prasat commune in Trapaeng Prasat district of Uddor Meanchey province from ELC of Tay Ninh Siem Reap Aphivath; Reclassifying 383.70 ha as state private land for donating to 90 families; Reserving 47.46 ha for physical infrastructure development; and Granting ownership to 104 private land parcels.

The paper situates group ownership within the evolution of the land reform programme. The paper presents a group ownership and operations continuum which ranges from informal occupation of state land and production through to more formally structured and regulated production systems and tenure arrangements. 

Research sought to evaluate the determinants of urban land markets, to analyse trends in urban land markets and values, and to assess impacts of urban land prices and policies. Concludes that if current land policies are not reformed there is a risk of increased negative impacts on the poor and more low-income people will be exposed to displacement to areas away from the urban centres which could cause social instability and an increase of informal settlements in suburbs.

Cutting 832.3 ha of land in O Tarkok village of Kanthout commune in Svay Leu district of Siem Reap province: 341.92 ha from ELC of Serey Mony Transportation and Construction, 473,82 ha from ELC of Ly Chhoung Construction and Import Export, and 16.56 ha from 2002 Forest Cover; Reclassifying 543.9 ha as state private land for donating to 212 families; Reserving 131.1 ha for community forest and 157.3 ha for physical infrastructure development; and Granting ownership to 270 private land parcels.

The women Land Rights Project is a project of Kenya Land Alliance that aims at actualisation Women land and property rights, as provided in the Constitution of Kenya, 2013 and as a means towards poverty alleviation. This considering the fact that, in Kenya where the foundation of most communities is Agriculture and livestock production, women contribute up to 80% of workforce yet they only hold 1% of registered land in their names and around 5-6% of registered titles are held in joint names (Kenya Land Alliance, 2013).

Lack of statistical data constitutes the main constraint to assess the effects of land use change in developing countries like Guinea. Here we examine the role of land use change in improving the livelihood of local mangrove rice farmers in the Guinean coastal zone based on both satellite and field survey data. We investigated land use change dynamics using spatial analysis and field survey data for the Dubreka prefecture, Guinea, where statistics and maps are not sufficiently available.
