Article 38 (1) shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 38 (1). The use of agricultural land for rural tourism (agro-tourism). A constitutional amendment bill has been tabled before Parliament with the primary aim of overhauling the Constitutional Right to Protection from deprivation of property (Article 26).

The stated objective of land policy in India has shifted from redistribution through land reform to ownership through land acquisition in the period between 1950 and 2014. This Act, consisting of 250 sections divided into five Parts and one Schedule, establishes Land title and registration requirements.
