Transport-related projects in Fragile and Conflict-affected Settings (FCS) encounter operational risks and challenges and have the potential to ignore and/or exacerbate peace and conflict dynamics by affecting the interplay of social, political, economic, cultural, and environmental factors that drive fragility, conflict, and violence.

This report provides a deep dive on the Sen AgriHack 2023, the innovation challenge organized by AICCRA to address post-harvest losses in Senegal. Through Sen AgriHack 2023, AICCRA created a dynamic platform for interdisciplinary collaboration among participants and stakeholders to generate relevant solutions to challenges faced by farmers and value chain actors.

The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) conducted a one-day workshop on “Leveraging the Role of Computer Vision in Agriculture Applications” as part of the CGIAR Initiative on Digital Innovation Initiative (DI). The workshop was organized at Delhi Technological University (DTU) on 20th November 2023.

In Ethiopia, the production of livestock has been mainly constrained by low quality feed supply and seasonal fluctuations. The usage of good quality and drought-tolerant forage legumes like white lupin and tree lucerne are recommended to overcome feed constraints. Those legumes fix atmospheric nitrogen when being in symbiosis with rhizobia and thereby reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers.

By going through this manual, we want to not only assist farmers in adapting to climate change but also enhance their food security and livelihoods. CONTEXT
Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is among the most important staple food crops in the lowland Terai region of Nepal. However, national production has not matched the increasing demand. From a South Asian regional perspective, average productivity is low with high spatial and temporal variability.
OBJECTIVES
