This Act concerns the making, revocation and effect of wills.
This Act provides for the establishment of small courts and defines the jurisdiction of such courts. It also provides with respect to proceedings and execution of judgement. Courts are established for provinces. The area of jurisdiction of a small claims court shall be the province for which it is established.
This Act declares that a person occupying rural land who, but for this Act, would be subjected to any legal proceedings for an order for the recovery of possession, shall be a protected occupier of rural land for the period referred to in subsection four, if: (a) that person was occupying the land on the fixed date and is still occupying the land at the date of commencement of this Act; and (b)
This Act concerns Communal land. Communal land shall consist of land which, immediately before the 1st of February, 1983, was Tribal Trust Land in terms of the Tribal Trust Act, 1979 (Act No. 6 of 1979), subject to any additions thereto or substractions therefrom made in terms of section 6 of this Act (sect. 3).
These Regulations place size limits on rural land in ownership. Rural land is basically land other than urban land, communal land or land owned by the State, a statutory body or a local authority. For the purposes of these Regulations, Zimbabwe shall be divided into classes of Natural Regions, depending upon the average rainfall during a year and the rainy season.
This Act concerns the fencing of land. "Fence" means a fence separating the adjoining pieces of land of different owners and includes: (a) any gate, grid track, other than a grid on a main road as defined in the Roads Act, or stile and any other means of passage over or through the fence concerned; and (b) any ditch, hedge, railings or wall used as a fence.
This Act makes provision with respect to Rural District Councils. The Act also concerns the declaration of districts by the President and classification of lands in Districts by the Minister for purposes of this Act.The Act makes provision for functions, powers, proceedings and organization of Rural District Councils.
This Act concerns control on the use of alienated land. Whenever the President considers it necessary or expedient to do so, he or she may make Regulations for the purpose of ascertaining the nature and extent of the occupation or use of alienated land (sect. 2).
This Act concerns rural land. The Act consists of 15 sections divided into 4 Parts: Preliminary (I); Acquisition and Alienation of State Land (II); Occupation of Land by Person Other Than Owner Not Involving Subdivision (III); General (IV).Communal land and other specified types of land are excluded from the operation of this Act (sect. 3).
This Notice of the President assigns to the Minister of Lands and Rural Resettlement - (a) the administration of the Acts set out in the Schedule; and (b) the functions conferred or imposed on the Minister save to the extent that those functions have not been assigned to some other Minister.
