This Act, consisting of 44 sections divided into six Parts, provides for the establishment and operation of the Land Development Corporation. Functions of the corporation include: to develop the land of the Corporation for use by industrial businesses; to provide services, facilities and general assistance to facilitate the establishment and conduct of industry; to carry out or facilitate other activities associated with the management of the Corporation's land and its use by industrial businesses, including commercial and recreational activities and activities related to heritage and environmental conservation (sect. 6).
