The purpose of the present Act is to define planning measures of the Canton and local authorities with a view to the conservation of agricultural land. The reduction of agricultural land shall be carried out only in exceptional cases and shall be compensated by the planning authority. The text consists of 19 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Provisions by the Canton (II); Provisions by local authorities (III); Reduction of agricultural land and its compensation (IV); Transitional and final provisions (V):
