This Act provides for the establishment of the Adelaide Park Lands Authority and for its internal composition. Function of the Board include: to undertake a key policy role with respect to the management and protection of the Adelaide Park Lands; to prepare the Adelaide Park Lands Management Strategy; to provide comments or advice in relation to the operation of any lease, licence or other form of grant of occupation of land within the Adelaide Park Lands; and to administer the Adelaide Park Lands Fund.The Act further provides for: procedures for the designation of Adelaide Park Lands; the management of Adelaide Park Lands; establishment of the Adelaide Park Lands Fund; etc.
