The present Regulation enforces the Surveys Act (R.S.O. 1990, c. S.30). In particular, the Regulation repeals the Ontario Co-ordinate System Regulation (R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 1028) dealing with a survey made for the purpose of establishing the location of points on the surface of the earth by geographic or grid co-ordinates.
