This Ordinance provides for the establishment of the Lands Tribunal and defines its compositions and functions.The Lands Tribunal shall be a court of record and shall deal with legal disputes over land. It shall have jurisdiction to: determine the amount of compensation payable by the Government in respect of any claim submitted to it under any Ordinance specified in the Schedule; determine any appeal submitted to it for determination under any Ordinance specified in the Schedule; make an order for the recovery of possession of any premises or for the ejectment of a tenant from those premises; etc.
