This Act amends the Local Government Act, 1996 in section 14 (Functions of District Councils) to assign functions of the Chief Valuation Officer in respect of real property taxes to District Councils. The Councils shall use assessment list prepared by the Chief Valuation Officer under the Real Property Tax Act.
