The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

El presente Decreto Supremo crea la Comisión Multisectorial Permanente para la Evaluación de Predios con fi nes de Vivienda Social, adscrita al Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento (MVCS), la cual tiene por objeto emitir informes técnicos que contribuyan a promover y facilitar el acceso de la población a la vivienda social, así como realizar el seguimiento de sus recomendaciones. Se considera como vivienda social, a aquella solución habitacional dirigida a la población de menores recursos económicos y de mayor vulnerabilidad, de acuerdo a la legislación aplicable.

National Land Commission (Investigation of Historical Land Injustices) Regulations, 2017 (L.N. No. 258 of 2017).
These Regulations of the National Land Commission, made under section 36 of the National Land Commission Act, 2012, concern correction of historical land injustices that occurred in a period between 1895 and 2010. Pursuant to Article 67 (2) (e) of the Constitution and section 15 (1) of the National Land Commission Act, 2012, the Commission may initiate investigations on its own initiative or upon a complaint into historical land injustices and recommend appropriate redress.
