The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Ley Nº 450 - Ley de protección a Naciones y Pueblos Indígenas Originarios en situación de alta vulnerabilidad.
La presente Ley establece los mecanismos y políticas sectoriales para la prevención, protección y fortalecimiento de las naciones y los pueblos indígenas originarios que se encuentran en situación de alta vulnerabilidad. Los mecanismos de protección contemplan el impedir cualquier tipo de perturbación en los territorios ocupados por dichas naciones y pueblos, como así también la promoción de iniciativas comunitarias para el aprovechamiento sustentable de los recursos naturales, facilitando la rehabilitación de la seguridad alimentaria y el acceso a los servicios básicos.
Law Revision (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2013 (No. 14 of 2013).
This Act amends various Acts including the Registration and Records Act, the Harbour Master Act and the Agricultural Small Holdings Act. The Registration and Records Act is amended in the Schedule which, pursuant to section 40, prescribes fees for services. The Agricultural Small Holdings Act is amended in section 7, which prescribes stamp duties and fees, and Schedule B, which also prescribes fees for purposes of section 7 (2).

Contaminated Land Management Regulation 2013.
This Regulation, consisting of four Parts and one Schedule, aims at establishing taxes, fees, offence and penalties for unauthorised activities performed within the Region. The object of this Regulation is to provide measures through the implementation of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997.

Law on privatization of state agricultural land.
This Law regulates the correct and sustainable functioning of the agricultural land market in sense of agricultural land use and its related requirements and standards to be applied related to the Macedonian agriculture development asset.The effective functions of the provisions prescribed are the following: restitution of the land under concession; authorization for the land use without mandatory compensation; issuance of the short-term land use authorizations; long-term land use concessions and related standards; actual sale of the agricultural land (state property or state ownership).
