The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Decree No. 43/2014/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Land Law.

Measures for Land and Resources Administrative Penalties.
These Measures are enacted in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalty, the Land Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, the Mineral Resources Law of the People's Republic of China, for purposes of regulating the imposition of land and resources administrative penalties, guaranteeing and supervising that the competent departments in land and resources legally perform their duties, and protecting the lawful rights and interests of natural persons, legal persons, or other organizations.
National Norms and Standards for the Remediation of Contaminated Land and Soil Quality in the Republic of South Africa (GN. 331 of 2014).
This Notice of the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, made under section 7 of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008, contains national norms and standards for the remediation of contaminated land and soil quality. The requirements set out in these norms and standards apply to an owner of land or any person who undertakes site assessment and remediation activity in terms of that Act.
