The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Article 7 shall be amended to add the following wording: “By Government resolutions, state forest land plots may be transferred by the right of trust to perform state functions specified by the Forest Law Act. State land plots may be transferred by the Government resolutions by the right of trust and to other entities specified in the Law on the Management, Use and Disposition of State and Municipal Property in the Law, when the law assigns them state functions.”

Regional Legislative Decree No. 18/2017/M establishing the bases of the Public Policy for Land, Regional Territorial Planning and Urbanism within the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
This Regional Legislative Decree, consisting of 171 articles divided into nine Chapters, establishes the general bases of the Public Policy for Land, Regional Territorial Planning and Urbanism within the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This Regional Legislative Decree under Law n. 31/2014, of May 30, defines the regional system for the territorial management.

El presente Decreto, considerando que por la Ley Nº 59 la Autoridad Nacional de Administración de Tierras tiene entre sus objetivos crear un sistema de información geográfica y levantar e integrar un catastro único, garantizando la administración, accesibilidad y manejo de la información generada por distintos programas y entidades, e incorporando procesos, recursos y tecnología de punta, establece estas directrices para la actualización de la información catastral.

Constitution Amendment Act (No.1) (No. 8 of 2017).
This Act amends the Constitution of Samoa by repealing Article 41A and by repealing and replacing Article 41. Article 41 concerns the office and powers of the Attorney-General and prosecution of offences. Consequential amendments are made to a number of Acts, including, amongst others, the Land Titles Registration Act 2008, the Waste Management Act 2010, and the Water Resources Management Act 2008.
