The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

Le présent arrêté fixe les modalités de conversion du droit de jouissance perpétuelle ou du droit de concession en droit de location des terres wakfs destinées à l’agriculture détenues par l’Etat, en application des dispositions de l’article 29 du décret exécutif n° 14-70 du 10 Rabie Ethani 1435 correspondant au 10 février 2014 fixant les conditions et modalités de location des terres wakfs destinées à l’agriculture.
Law No. 1532-VIII amending some legislative acts related to minimum period of lease of agricultural land on which is in course drainage and land reclamation.
Land Code (No. 2768-III of 2001) shall be amended to add the following wording: “Period of lease of agricultural land plots of drained land or with drainage and land reclamation works in course, destined for agricultural production, and smallholding, shall not be less than 10 years”.
