Decision No.1197 dated 3.12.2009 proclaims the Tirana Castle Archaeological Zone “A” and approves the regulation for its administration. At the archaeological zone “A” are allowed the restoration, conservation of the surrounding walls and other castle structures, surveys and other archaeological diggings aiming at the full study of the zone as laid down in projects approved by the National Archaeological Council and the National Restoration Council. The physical or legal persons or the local government units may submit at the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Water Administration the request for the removal of certain parts from the pastures fund. The request should be accompanied by a formal notice, a copy of the permission or document that approves the activities proposed to be undertaken, and the blue print of the area. The request should be examined within 30 days of its submission.
