An Act to give effect to the Nisga’a Final Agreement.
The present Act approves, gives effect to and declares valid the Nisga’a Final Agreement. Section 9 establishes that there shall be paid out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sums that are required to meet the obligations of Canada under the Capital Transfer and Negotiation Loan Repayment Chapter and the Fisheries Chapter of the Nisga’a Final Agreement. The text consists of 27 sections.

The present regulations provide for the enforcement of the Commissioner’s Land Act. The regulations contain at the outset a definition clause referring to various terms therein employed, such as “Act”, “agreement for sale”, “application”, “Deputy minister”, “land agent”, “lease”, “notification”. They apply to the sale, lease or any other disposition of Commissioner’s land or any interest in Commissioner’s land. Section 7 establishes that a person to whom a certificate of title for Commissioner’s land is to be issued shall pay a fee. The text consists of 34 sections and 2 Schedules.
This Order implements the Territorial Parks Act by defining the borders of Historic Parks established in the Act.

This Act authorizes certain areas to be designated as development areas and managed in accordance to the provisions of this Act and relevant regulations.
This Act provides for the creation and management of protected areas, in particular of Natural Environment Recreation Parks, Outdoor Recreation Parks, Community Parks, Wayside Parks, and Historic Parks. The Act also concerns aboriginal land claims settlements (sect. 4), duties and responsibilities of park officers, and the management of parks.
