Dr. Mbataru is a Lecturer in the department of Public Policy and Administration at Kenyatta University. He is a specialist in Development Policy. His research areas of interest include; food security, Land mutation and Agriculture, and regional economic development policy. He has attended and presented in twelve international and national conferences, and accrued funding on conducting six research projects.
