Harry W. Fischer is an associate professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden. He also serves on the advisory council of FOCALI, the Forest, Climate, Livelihoods Network of Sweden. His research focuses on democratic decentralization and community-based natural resource governance, and its role in supporting environmental goals and rural well-being.
