De Directie Regionale Zaken (DRZ) Zuid van EL&I wil graag weten welke (dieperliggende) vragen er schuilgaan achter de agenda op het gebied van reconstructie, megastallen, Q-koorts, etc., die is gekanaliseerd naar de het ruimtelijk ordeningsbeleid. Daartoe is deze helpdeskvraag uitgezet bij Alterra. De helpdeskvraag is toegespitst naar de 'Wet algemene bepalingen omgevingsrecht'.

Le présent décret, pris en application des dispositions de la loi n° 020/2005 du 03 janvier 2006 fixant les règles de création, d'organisation et de gestion des services de l'Etat, ensemble les textes modificatifs subséquents, porte création et organisation de l’Agence Nationale de l'Urbanisme, des Travaux Topographiques et du Cadastre. L’Agence Nationale de l'Urbanisme, des Travaux Topographiques et du Cadastre (ANUTTC) a pour mission d'aménager des espaces constructibles et de délivrer les titres de propriété établis par les administrations compétentes en la matière.

This Act provides administration arrangements for the city of Kampala and provides with respect to its development, physical planning. It establishes the Capital City Authority and the Metropolitan Physical Planning Authority. The Minister may, in consultation with the Authority and with the approval of Cabinet, establish divisions within the Capital City and alter the boundaries of those divisions. The Capital City shall have the lower urban councils under the Authority: (a) Division urban councils; (b) ward urban councils; and (c) village urban councils.

The 2011 Brisbane Floods: Causes, Impacts and Implications

On 13th January 2011 major flooding occurred throughout most of the Brisbane River catchment, most severely in Toowoomba and the Lockyer Creek catchment (where 23 people drowned), the Bremer River catchment and in Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland. Some 56,200 claims have been received by insurers with payouts totalling $2.55 billion. This paper backgrounds weather and climatic factors implicated in the flooding and the historical flood experience of Brisbane.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and its partners will hold consultations on various issues relating to the voluntary guidelines on responsible governance of tenure of land and other natural resources. The voluntary guidelines aim to provide practical guidance for State governance bodies, civil society and the private sector. The voluntary guidelines will provide a basis, which interested parties can use when developing their strategies and activities.

Land Tenure Working Paper 19. The present paper is written as part of the overall Voluntary Guidelines consultation and development process and is a contribution to the subsequent preparation of the Gender Technical Guide. It contextualises and defines gender for the Voluntary Guidelines, discusses what governance of tenure means from a gender perspective and identifies and analyses key issues and themes. It then summarises recommendations relevant to gender before drawing some conclusions for the development process of the Voluntary Guidelines.

This study examines the experiences and opinions of a “public” which became involved in a government driven comprehensive land use and natural resource planning exercise in British Columbia, Canada during the 1990s. While it is generally assumed to be an inherently good thing, or at least a politically necessary thing, to involve the public in natural resources or land use planning, few studies have examined the experiences of the public or examined perceived failures from the public's perspective.
