Les représailles d'Israël à l'attaque du 7 octobre 2023 par le Hamas se sont rapidement transformées en une nouvelle phase de ce qui ne peut être considéré que comme une campagne génocidaire visant à détruire et à déplacer les 2,2 millions d'habitants et habitantes de Gaza. Au moment de la publication de cet article (le 27 octobre 2023), les bombardements aériens aveugles de l'armée israélienne ont tué plus de 7 000 personnes à Gaza, pour la plupart des femmes et des enfants, et détruit plus de 200 000 logements, ainsi que des écoles, des hôpitaux et des lieux de culte. Depuis plus de deux semaines, Israël a coupé Gaza des approvisionnements essentiels en nourriture, en eau, en carburant, en électricité et en médicaments, créant, selon l'OMS, « une crise humanitaire et sanitaire qui a atteint des proportions catastrophiques ».

The Dutch LAND-at-scale program was launched in March last year and since then, two rounds for land intervention ideas have been released. The program seeks ideas that contribute to improving land governance in developing countries, and that ultimately support better food and nutrition security, economic development, peace and stability in these countries.

The LAND-at-scale programme got a great response to the second call for ideas. The programme received 25 new ideas from 19 different countries. Support continues for enhancing land governance and tenure security. This is evident in the response and effort from embassies, NGOs and knowledge institutes.
