The Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC), also known as University of San Carlos de Guatemala, is the largest and oldest university in Guatemala, being also the only national in that Central American country. The Food Security Information Network (FSIN) is a global initiative to strengthen food and nutrition security information systems for producing reliable and accurate data to guide analysis and decision-making.

The Institute of Land Administration in Bahir Dar University was established in 2006 by launching the first BSc program in Land Administration in Ethiopia. The establishment of the institute was initiated by the then Environmental Protection, Land Administration and Use Authority (EPLAUA) of the Amhara National Regional State. Institute’s establishment was supported by Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden and financed by the Swedish government through Sida.

LANDnet Uganda was founded in 2012 as a Network engaged in Research, Capacity Development and Policy Advocacy on Land, Gender, Agriculture and Natural Resources Management. Because of the role LANDnet is envisaged to play in the political economy of Uganda and the East African region, it is registered as a company Limited by guarantee.

HEKS champions the cause of a more humane and just world and a life in dignity. Internationally, HEKS/EPER focuses on rural community development, humanitarian aid and inter-church cooperation. 

Collectif des Femmes du Mali is one of the oldest non-governmental organization in Mali. Since its creation in 1991, this organization set a goal to fight for the empowerment of women of the country.   

At the beginning, the women who created this group had for goals to raise awareness among women about the necessity to empower and organize themselves; and make women understand that they can influence, and change their life condition.
