Agricultural and rural regulations in Greece are governed by a scattered legislation, making its use and application difficult. Such situation does not correspond to the modern needs, since the management of the agricultural immovable property is applied through the Rural Code which was ratified in 1949, together with certain legislative provisions on rural development during the ’70s and ’80s. Moreover, the Ministry of Rural Development and Food manages the immovable property on the basis of other laws and provisions, in particular with Law No.
