The State of the World’s Forest Genetic Resources addresses the conservation, management and sustainable use of forest tree and other woody plant genetic resources of actual and potential value for human well-being in the broad range of management systems. This report complements two other FAO flagship publications in the field of forestry, the annual State of the World’s Forests and the periodic Global Forest Resources Assessment (FRA).

I Brevetti delle Nazioni Unite sono stati sviluppati allo scopo di sensibilizzare, educare e soprattutto motivare i giovani a modificare i loro comportamenti e a diventare protagonisti attivi del cambiamento nella propria comunità. I Brevetti possono essere usati per lezioni scolastiche, attività di gruppi giovanili e sono promossi da WAGGGS e WOSM. Comprendono diversi tipi di attività e idee che possono essere utilizzate facilmente da insegnanti e capigruppo.

The purpose of the United Nations Challenge Badges is to raise awareness, educate and, most of all, motivate young people to change their behaviour and be active agents of change in their local communities. Challenge Badges are appropriate for use with school classes and youth groups, and are endorsed by WAGGGS and WOSM. They include a wide range of activities and ideas that can easily be adapted by teachers or leaders.
