This Regional Law establishes the composition of land-use planning documentation that must contain mapping of the territory, copy of decision of land expropriation (including bail out), land reservation for public and municipal needs, mapping of the boundaries of land servitude, and project documentation containing graphic maps.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to coal. For the purpose of this Act "coal land" means land in which the coal or the right to explore for, develop and produce coal is vested in or reserved to the government. The Act contains at the outset a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed such as, “coal land reserve”, “lease”, “licence”, “location”, “owner”, “protected heritage property”, “recorded holder”, “surface area”.

The present Act lays down provisions relating to agricultural lands in the domain of the state. It applies to any agricultural land in the domain of the State, hereinafter referred to as “ungranted land”. It applies also to any agricultural land in the domain of the State considered as “land under concession”. No person may cut timber on ungranted land or on land under concession unless he is authorized to do so by the Minister, subject to paragraph 3 of Section 47, or if he fails to meet the conditions and to pay the duties prescribed by regulation.

An Act to introduce a cadastral plan into the legislation of the province of Quebec. The task of implementing the said Act is entrusted to the Minister of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Parks who is going to apply the following rules some of which refer to, for example, contents of plans, establishment, original, townships, certification, regularization, land register.

This Act shall facilitate the subdivision of land into strata and the collective sale of property, and provide for the issuance of subsidiary strata certificates of title. The registration of strata title applications and strata title plans are described in section 9. Part III deals with rights and obligations of subsidiary proprietors. This Act concerns the management of Crown lands, i.e. all or any part of the lands vested in the Crown that are under the administration and control of the Minister and includes any water upon or under the surface of such lands and of forest and forest resources. The Act provides for surveys, for alienation and acquisition of land, including leases of Crown lands and acquisition of land by the Minister. The Act also provides for Crown timber licences, sub-licences and timber permits, the sale of timber and related royalties.

Procedures and requirements for the acquisiton of land are set out in detail in the text. The Act further provides for the constitution of one or more Appeal Boards for the purpose of hearing appeals in respect of any award made by the Collector.
