La presente Ley tiene por objeto crear el marco institucional necesario a fin de satisfacer las necesidades de los organismos e instituciones del Estado, del ámbito científico, educacional y técnico, así como del sector privado, relativo a contar con los datos geoespaciales necesarios para una adecuada planificación del desarrollo socioeconómico, la explotación de los recursos naturales, la protección del ambiente y la seguridad del país.

This Decree provides that before supplying data for land surveying activity having real estate registration purpose, the congruency between data contained in the uniform real estate registration database must be verified. If the discrepancy exceeds the allowable measure, the competent land office must proceed with the verification of data. Further provisions contains detailed rules concerning types of schematic maps regarding changes, measuring activity, area calculation, marking the land parcel line, periodical on-site inspections, format of supplied data.

The present Ordinance enforces the Introductory Law relating to the Spatial Information Act of 2 May 2010. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to geographic information and collection, managment and use of spatial data for the Canton Glarus.

These Regulations amend the Land Surveyors (Fees for Survey of State Lands) by revoking and replacing the Schedule, which specifies fees for surveys, including the survey of an agricultural site.

In particular, the present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the official survey, geographical names and correct addresses of buildings. The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the transmission of data on potential risk of the underground in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Article 2 establishes that for the purpose of the present Regulation potential risks of the underground are geological conditions and mining-related changes of the sub-soil which can lead to damage-causing events on the surface and represent a possible risk to human health, the environment and property in general.
