La presente Ley declara Parques Provinciales, Monumentos Naturales y Reservas Provinciales las superficies del territorio de la Provincia de Tucumán, que resultaren necesarias para la protección y conservación de los recursos naturales renovables, sean del dominio del Estado o privados. La Ley especifica las actividades cuya realización queda prohibida en los parques provinciales y monumentos naturales. El artículo 19 crea la Comisión Asesora de Parques, Monumentos y Recursos Naturales Renovables y Reservas Provinciales.

This Act prescribes that, unless authorised by a permit issued by the Board of Trustees, no person shall by means of excavation or surface operations search for any object of archaeological or palaeontological interest. Such permit shall, so far as is practicable, be in Form A set out in the Schedule. A permit may specify, in regard to the acts which it authorises, such limitations and conditions as the Board may consider necessary.

A National Scenic Area is established and certain areas of the Area are designated as special management areas under section 4. A Columbia River Gorge Commission, which is a regional agency, shall be established by way of an interstate agreement between the States of Oregon and Washington. The Commission shall prepare a scenic area management plan under section 6. The Commission shall also develop land use designations within 2 years of its establishment. Sections 7 and 8 provide for the administration of the Scenic Area and the special management areas. (18 sections)

This Act makes provision for various matters relating to the activity of exploration and exploitation of petroleum resources in Botswana including licensing, control, surface rights, survey of wells, protection of the environment and compulsory acquisition of land.The Act sets out criteria and conditions for the granting of an exploration or a development licence. The Minister may enter into an agreement with a (potential) licence holder. A registered holder of an exploration licence shall notify the Minister on the discovery of petroleum in an exploration area.

This Amendment, of four sections, adds the following sections to the principal Law. After section (41) shall be inserted section (41A) dealing with prohibitions regarding the selling of natural assets unless permitted by the Minister of Agriculture. After sec.(42) shall be inserted section (42A) dealing with the assignment of functions regarding the implementations of the provisions of this chapter and the regulations made thereunder. This Act directs the Secretary of the Interior, to review every roadless area of 5,000 or more acres and every roadless island within National Wildlife Refuge and National Park Systems and to recommend to the President the suitability of each such area or island for inclusion in the National Wilderness Preservation System. The National Wilderness Preservation System is to be composed of federally owned areas designated by the Congress as "wilderness areas". The Secretary of Agriculture must recommend suitable areas in the National Forest System.

This Act establishes a National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and prescribes the methods and standards through which additional rivers may be identified and added to the system. The Act authorizes the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to study areas and submit proposals to the President and Congress for addition to the system. It describes procedures and limitations for control of lands in Federally administered components of the system and for dealing with disposition of lands and minerals under Federal ownership.

This Act aims at promoting soil conservation, preventing and mitigating soil erosion, and preventing damage by floods.As provided for in the Act, the Board may recommend to the Minister what lands, whether Crown or private, should be reserved as soil conservation reserves. The Board shall control and manage the soil conservation reserves in order to best conserve the soil of the reserve and prevent injury to other land, and may grant licences to occupy the reserve for pastoral or mining purposes or for the purpose of cutting, felling, and removing timber or flax.

Ce dahir porte dispositions relatives aux diverses mesures à prendre en vue de la défense et de la restauration des sols. La mesure principale consiste en la création de zones dites "périmètres de défense et de restauration des sols d'intérêt national", à l'intérieur desquelles l'Etat peut imposer les mesures et les travaux nécessités par la lutte contre l'érosion.

This Act prohibits the occupation of certain lands, and the building of structures on these without obtaining previous permission by the Authorized Officer. The Provincial Government shall declare these lands to be controlled areas for the purposes of this Act. Offences and penalties are provided for in the Act.

This Law officially provides all necessary information, official borders and denominations for the declaration of the area of western part of the Croatian island “Mljet” as National Park, including the description of boundaries and coordinates.

The Act aims at the conservation of soil resources for the prevention or mitigation of soil erosion and at the protection of land against damages by flood and drought. On the basis of surveys and investigations carried out by the Director of Agriculture for the purposes of ascertaining the nature and extent of soil erosion and of damages to land caused by floods and drought, the Minister may by Order published in the Gazette declare any area to be an erodible area.
