Section 7 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, is hereby amended- (a) by the substitution of the following section for subsection (1): "(1) There shall be- (a) an office (in this Act referred to as 'the central office') consisting of one or more than one constituent offices situated in the county borough of Dublin and in such other area or areas (if any) as the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform may designate by order under subsection (5), and (b) an office (in this Act referred to as a 'local office') in each county other than- (i) the county borough of Dublin, the administrative county of South Dublin, the administrative county of Fingal and the administrative county of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown, and (ii) a county where there is a constituent office of the central office.", and (b) by the addition of the following subsection after subsection (4): "(5) (a) The Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform may, from time to time, designate by order any county (including an administrative county referred to in subsection (1)(b)(i)) as an area within which one or more than one constituent office of the central office shall be located. (b) An order under paragraph (a) may be amended or revoked by order of the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform.".
